CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) – Authorities are asking for help after a string of crimes in Cortland County.

Deputies say they received multiple reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles in Cortlandville over the weekend. The crimes allegedly occurred between Saturday and Monday morning.

Sheriff Mark Helms urges the public to remove valuable items from their vehicles and lock the doors.
