CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) — Early education funding in Cortland County is getting a boost from Washington.

Congressman Marc Molinaro says the Cortland County Community Action Program will receive over three point one million dollars for Head Start programming, which provides education, health, and nutrition services for kids from low-income families.

“Head Start ensures every kid regardless of family income, receives quality education and has the opportunity to succeed. It is so important to invest in childhood education and our future generation,” Molinaro says.

In response to the funding, Cortland County Community Action Head Start Director says, “”Cortland County Community Action Program is proud to continue providing high quality early childhood education services to the community. Thank you to Congressman Molinaro for his continued support.”
