CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) – A Cortland family breathes a sigh of relief today after a scary situation over the weekend.

On Saturday, a missing vulnerable adult alert was issued for 83-year-old Theodore Testa, who police said may be in need of medical attention due to his dementia. At the time, Testa was last seen around 9:45 p.m. Friday driving his SUV on Homer Avenue in Cortland. He was thought to have possibly been heading to Syracuse.

Cortland Police shared in an update on Saturday that Mr. Testa was located and is home safe with family.
