MARATHON, NY (607NewsNow) — A new law is under consideration in Marathon.

Town Supervisor Tim Elliot said the proposed law involves green energy systems.

“It basically is going to regulate where windmills could be placed in the town of Marathon,” he said.

The Town Board will circle back on May 13.

Elsewhere in Cortland County, safety upgrades are coming to Virgil Town Hall.
