ENDWELL, NY (607NewsNow) — Students at Maine-Endwell High School are grabbing their headphones.
On Oct. 20, the school unveiled its new music production studio. The $700,000 space has sound boards, recording software, and acoustically treated walls.
“This new space represents more than just an investment in equipment,” the Maine-Endwell Central School District said in a Facebook post. “It’s an investment in our students, creating opportunities for those who play an instrument, those who love creating music, and those interested in pursuing careers in music production.”
Maine-Endwell music teacher Kurtis Parker told WIVT News 34 that students can learn “21st century” skills with the technology.
