ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — The US Customs Facility at Ithaca’s airport will close.
Tompkins County legislators voted Tuesday 13 to one in favor of shuttering the facility. Legislator Mike Lane was the lone dissenting vote.
Last year, the Ithaca Tompkins International Airport facility lost over $250,000. Before voting with the majority, Legislator Mike Sigler said he was hopeful the 2018 facility would be a boon.
Airport Director Roxan Noble will recommend new uses for the facility.
