ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Construction begins next year on a permanent homeless shelter in Ithaca. 

Tompkins County Legislator Rich John shared some concerns Wednesday on Ithaca’s Morning News.

John also has a concern about costs. 

The county agreed to spend $1.1 million on an acre of land on Cherry Street, where a permanent homeless shelter will be built from the ground up.
