ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Negotiations continue between Cornell and the United Automobile Workers union.
University officials say there’s been progress on issues like vacation, and health and personal leave. Cornell is also proposing raises for employees who provide training, and bonuses for workers who reach five and 15 years of service.
The union is considering calling a strike as labor talks continue. School officials say a plan is in place to maintain essential services.
