ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Change is coming to New York’s school aid formula.
Assemblymember Anna Kelle says a study from the Rockefeller Institute of Government concluded the state’s current formula for calculating school aid is outdated.
Kelles believes some of the recommendations in the over 300-page report, released last week, will make the final cut.
Conversations about the school aid formula will likely begin when the Legislature convenes next month.
