CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) — Cayuga Media Group’s very own Kat Walters is set to take the stage in the “Absolute Originals” show at the Ake Gallery in Cortland.

On Saturday 10/12 at 7 p.m., Colleen Kattau, Nancy Mead, Patty Francis, and Kat Walters will come together to perform in a round robin exchange of their original songs. To learn more about the event, visit their Facebook page here.

Walters had this to say about the upcoming show:

“One thing I am very passionate about is supporting local venues; where artists of all kinds can express themselves and share their creations. Two years ago, Paul Kozlowski opened the Ake Gallery in Cortland, a unique space where local artists shine.

So, when Paul asked me to be a part of this fundraising event, I saw it as an opportunity to help keep the dream alive. I am honored to share the stage with these amazing musicians. Admittedly, I am an amateur in comparison, and I am definitely stepping out of my comfort zone in doing this, but I know I will learn so much from this experience. It is an absolute honor.”
