ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – An Ithaca woman is accused of stealing.

On March 9, Ithaca Police officers responded to an apartment complex in the 100 block of Cherry Street for a burglary investigation. IPD says 25-year-old Madelyn Carman forcefully entered an apartment and took items, which were later recovered in Carman’s apartment within the same residential complex.

Carman is charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor criminal mischief. She was released on her recognizance and is scheduled to return to court at a later date.

The Ithaca Police Department has asked any witnesses to the incident or anyone with relevant information to contact them.
