ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — An Ithaca street will see fewer idling vehicles.
On April 14, the Town Board approved a change on Updike Road. It bans vehicles from parking on part of the road near the municipal border with Danby.
Town Supervisor Rod Howe said one resident had complained about loitering and littering in the area.
Town Highway Superintendent Joe Slater said a sign that prohibits parking will go up in the next few weeks.
