ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Streets in Ithaca are getting clean.

Department of Public Works crews are preparing to start the annual spring cleaning of streets. The city is asking residents to rake the area between sidewalks and curbs before the street sweepers circulate. Collegetown streets are first on the city’s list to be cleaned and flushed starting March 31st.

‘No parking’ signs will be posted on streets 24 hours before work begins, and vehicles should be removed by 7 a.m. on cleaning days.
