ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Another person is tossing their name for a seat on the Ithaca Common Council.

G.P. Zurenda tells WHCU taxes are too high. 

Zurenda has worked in manufacturing as a factory manager and spent the past 20 years as a social worker. He says he hasn’t like what he’s seen fiscally.

Zurenda seeks a 2-year term representing the 5th Ward.
