ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – The City of Ithaca wants to hear from you.

Ithaca is launching an open call for projects as it prepares a new application for the $10 million Downtown Revitalization grant program. Officials say the application will focus on developing the West End, West State/MLK Jr. Street, the Commons, and other areas. The city would like to strengthen connectivity between the waterfront and downtown areas.

Ithaca is encouraging any organizations, businesses, and others planning capital investments in the DRI area to submit a project form by Monday, August 5.

An online info session about the application process is set for July 16 at 9 a.m.

Additionally, an in-person public meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. on August 19 at the Tompkins County Public Library. The steering committee will review submitted projects and the public can provide feedback. Selected projects will be included in the application.
