ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – A local chapter of a worldwide group has money available for global projects.

The Rotary Club of Ithaca seeks grant proposals for international peacebuilding projects from area organizations and Rotary Clubs in Central New York. Rotary International is looking for projects focused on fighting disease; providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene; supporting education; growing local economies; protecting the environment; helping mothers and children; and promoting peace.

Award amounts range from $2,000 to $5,000. The deadline to apply is September 30, 2024. More information and an application are available here.

  • expanded capacity in India for building locally sourced water filtration systems (2018)
