ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – The Ithaca Rotary Club has put out an open call for grant proposals.
Applications for the Community Grants Program are open through August 2. Applicants must be classified as a non-profit or sponsored by a group who is, and all proposed projects must be within Tompkins County. The maximum award amount is $1,500, and one request per organization is permitted.
Rotary officials invite special projects or one-time needs not typically supported by general funding sources but, will not award grants to be used as part of a larger capital campaign or for re-grants like scholarship programs. Grants additionally are “not usually made for operating budgets, endowments, individuals, or projects requiring ongoing support.”
All funds must be expended by May 1, 2025. Winners will be announced in September.
