ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — One man is behind bars after allegedly threatening someone with an axe in Ithaca.

Police officers responded to the Asteri building on East Green Street on Sunday night. They received word of a physical domestic situation.

On the scene, authorities arrested Cameron McCaffery. He’s charged with multiple crimes, including assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

McCaffery will appear in court at a later date.
