ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Ithaca will see more self-storage units.

Over 24,000 square feet of space will be constructed on Elmira Road. Engineer Michael Lasell said the main building will have a modern design.

“We do have a lot of false windows that make it not look like a storage facility,” he said.

The project, dubbed Ithaca Self-Storage, received final approval on May 6 from the Town of Ithaca’s Planning Board.
