ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Ithaca Moose Lodge might see a new sign.

According to city documents, leaders with the lodge say the bottom message sign on Elmira Road is “folding in on itself and rusting out.” They add it’s difficult to change the letters, especially during harsh weather.

The new sign would have LED lighting and be programmable from indoors. Leaders with the lodge say the sign would only stay on during business hours.

Ithaca’s Planning & Development Board will review the potential change tonight at 6 p.m. at Ithaca City Hall.
