ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — An Ithaca man is charged with harassing people with a gun.

IPD says Joshua Abrams was menacing several people last evening at the Ithaca Walmart, including some who were underage.

“The suspect was later located traveling northbound on Meadow Street, and a high-risk traffic stop was conducted, which resulted in the intersection of South Meadow and Green Street being temporarily closed down,” police said in a news release.

After Abrams was pulled over, police say they recovered a gun and possible drugs in the vehicle. He’s been charged with the following:

Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor
Menacing in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor
Three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, each a Class A Misdemeanor
