ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — An Ithaca man was caught red-handed by police.

According to the Ithaca Police Department, 56-year-old Angel Arce was found close to a home on Stewart Avenue shortly before one o’clock this morning. After responding to the initial call about a burglary in progress, police say Arce was trying to break into another house.

He’s been charged with attempted burglary and criminal mischief.
