ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Before a vote, Ithacans can again express their views tonight on the good cause eviction bill.

A public hearing is at the top of the Common Council meeting agenda prior to the vote on adopting good cause eviction protection as city law. City officials say the bill “balances the rights of tenants and property owners.” The city also says good cause evictions prevent unreasonable increases in rent.
