ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — In Ithaca, accessory dwelling units are still under consideration by the Common Council.
Deputy Mayor Kayla Matos tells WHCU feedback about secondary housing has been robust.
Matos, who represents Ward 1 on the Common Council, adds the current resolution is written with non-owner-occupied ADUs in mind.
But that’s not a done deal.
Prior to a vote on May 7, Ithacans will have another chance to share their thoughts with Common Council members.
