ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Housing changes are coming to Ithaca College.

Starting in the fall, all freshmen will be placed in themed residence halls. The Ithacan reports students will be able to select from various concepts, including quiet study, adventure peak, sustainability, and creative innovation.

Ithaca College Vice President of Student Affairs and Campus Life Stanley Bazile said themed housing “contributes to a better campus experience.” Though the initial change just involves freshmen, the school plans to place all sophomores in themed dorms by 2029.
