ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – An Ithaca man faces charges following a search.

Around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, Ithaca Police executed a warrant on Ruben Flowers related to a pending criminal investigation. The 45-year-old allegedly had a 9mm ghost handgun. Ghost guns are privately assembled piece by piece and untraceable.

Flowers is charged with two counts of felony criminal possession of a weapon, class C and class D. He is additionally charged with misdemeanor petit larceny.

IPD says Flowers was arraigned and remanded to Tompkins County Jail.
