ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Two shootings are under investigation in Ithaca.

Police say the first was reported Friday afternoon around 1:45 in the 400 block of Adams Street. Officers responded to a second shooting about 20 minutes later in the 100 block of West Village Place.

Shortly after 4:00, IPD was called to a crash in the 300 block of Third Street connected to the two shootings. Police believe the people involved know each other and that the incidents are not random.
