ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — A 43-year-old Ithaca man is accused of threatening officers. 

According to a news release from the Ithaca Police Department, officers found Jason Noble inside an apartment building Sunday morning, Dec. 28 on E. Green St. while responding to a noise complaint.

Noble was wanted on several warrants on the following charges:

NY PL 205.30 Resisting Arrest a class A Misdemeanor
NY PL 170.10.03 Forgery 2nd a class D Felony
NY PL 190.25.01 Criminal Impersonation 2nd a class A Misdemeanor
NY PL 145.00.01 Criminal Mischief a class A Misdemeanor

When trying to arrest him, police say Noble threatened officers with a knife and consumed “an unknown white powdery substance” before being handcuffed. In addition to prior charges, Noble is also charged with the following:

NY PL 120.18 Menacing, a class D Felony
NY PL 205.30 Resisting Arrest, a class A Misdemeanor
NY PL 215.40 Tampering with Physical Evidence, a class E Felony
NY PL 265.02 Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the third, a class D Felony

Noble was arraigned and is now in the Tompkins County jail without bail.
