HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) – An incarcerated man has received criminal charges in Homer.

On April 11, authorities arrested Joseph Mydlenski, of Clay, for violating an order of protection. According to the Homer Police Department, the 47-year-old repeatedly contacted the protected party while in custody at Jamesville Correctional Facility between August 2023 and January 2024.

Mydlenski is charged with 24 counts of felony criminal contempt, 12 counts of felony aggravated family offense, and 12 counts of misdemeanor stalking.
