Update 6/25 9 a.m. – Ithaca High School graduation ceremonies will be held outside today at Moresco Stadium. The first ceremony begins at noon, and the second starts at 3 p.m. No tickets are required. Both ceremonies will also be live-streamed on the ICSD Communications YouTube channel.
ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – Outgoing seniors at Ithaca High School will have to wait one more day to get their diplomas.
School officials made the decision earlier on Monday to postpone graduation because of forecasted rain. Ceremonies are now set for tomorrow at Moresco Stadium.
If there is more rain on Tuesday, graduation will be moved indoors to Kulp Auditorium. Should the weather force the ceremonies indoors, graduates will only be allowed to have four guests because of capacity and fire code regulations. Seating is first-come, first-served, and Kulp Auditorium will open 45 minutes before the event.
Ithaca High School officials say they’ll send out a robocall and email tomorrow morning if graduation is being moved indoors.
