ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Igloo has recalled over a million coolers.

Officials say 90-quart Flip & Tow rolling coolers manufactured before January 2024 can cause finger injuries, including amputation. Specifically, the tow handle can pinch consumers’ fingers against the cooler. There have been a dozen reports of injuries.

The coolers were sold in a variety of colors at multiple national retailers including Target, Dick’s, Costco, and others. The coolers were additionally sold online at Amazon.com, igloocoolers.com, and others from January 2019 through January 2025.

The date of manufacture can be found on the bottom of the cooler in a circular pattern with an arrow pointing to the month of manufacture and the last two digits of the manufacture year inside the circle.
