ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — An injured man is recovering after being rescued in Ithaca.
Assistant Chief Jim Wheal at the Ithaca Fire Department says rescuers responded shortly after 5:30 Saturday evening to Six Mile Creek where a man fell into the creek and was injured. Several crews were on the scene because of the challenging rope rescue.
The man was flown to a regional trauma center for more care.
