ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — The Ithaca City School District now offers free food.
The district announced Friday it had received more funding from the US Agriculture Department’s Community Eligibility Provision under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program, which includes a free breakfast and lunch through the 2024 to 2025 academic year for every student.
According to the Ithaca Voice, Ithaca joins Newfield, Dryden, and Groton school districts in providing universal meals.
