ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Ithaca City School District and Ithaca Teachers Association have been meeting for weeks to discuss a new contract.

Recently on Ithaca’s Morning News, Superintendent Dr. Luvelle Brown explain where the two sides share common ground.

Despite agreeing in principle on pay raises, Brown says the two sides haven’t agreed yet on big a hike in pay would be.

Leaders with ICSD and the ITA will continue to meet, which are being live-streamed, over the next several weeks.
