SEMPRONIUS, NY (CortacaToday) – A crash that killed a Cortland County man remains under investigation in Cayuga County.

Cayuga County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Town of Sempronius around 11:40 p.m. Friday for a report of a single-vehicle accident. The preliminary investigation indicates a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Lane Quaile went off the roadway near the intersection of Atwood and Frazier Road and struck a pole. Quaile was the sole occupant of the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
