HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) — Homer lawmakers are still looking to replace an electric vehicle charging station.

Village Trustee Liz Arnold said the charger near the rec building has wires showing. She said it should be replaced “sometime soon” to ensure safety.

Talks to replace the charger began several months ago. The potential cost remains unclear.

Arnold said the village should consider using ChargePoint as a vendor, citing its “better network” and support.
