HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) — From July 20th to the 25th, the Homer Fire Department will collaborate with Firehouse Concessions to raise money for emergency fire protection, rescue services, public safety response, training, and community preparedness.

A portion of the proceeds from purchases made at Firehouse Concessions’ Hometown Heroes food trucks will go toward the Homer Fire Department and will help support first responders serving the Village of Homer, the Town of Homer, the Town of Scott, and neighboring communities.

Since 2019, Firehouse Concessions has raised over $989,423 for local fire, EMS, and police departments. Their food trucks will offer pizza, subs, and sweet treats. Owned and operated by firefighters, Firehouse Concessions currently services over 130 emergency service agencies.

The food trucks will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day of the fundraiser and will be located at the Homer Fire Department.
