CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) — Cortland County’s drug takeback event was successful. 

Sheriff Mark Helms says deputies collected and disposed of several hundred pounds of pills at three locations on Saturday.

Helms also notes there are kiosks at the Sheriff’s office and police departments in Cortland, Homer, and SUNY Cortland to dispose of pills year-round.
