ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Five out of 13 Ithaca protestors rejected plea deals.

The Coalition for Mutual Liberation at Cornell says all 13 defendants charged with disorderly conduct were in Ithaca City Court on Wednesday. Three had their charges dismissed and five accepted agreements from the office of Tompkins County DA.

The CML says the remaining five will return to court. All were arrested last month during the Pathways to Peace event at Cornell.
