ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — GreenStar workers want to unionize. 

The Ithaca Voice reports union organizers seek to form a union at the Cascadilla Street location. In a letter sent to GreenStar’s management on Friday, the organizers say a union is the best way to make sure workers at the co-op have a voice at work. Management says they would recognize the union if the vote is successful.

Organizers add a union could eventually cover GreenStar’s other two Ithaca locations.
