ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — A scam warning from Foodnet Meals on Wheels.

The Tompkins County group says someone is calling clients claiming they won’t receive meals without paying a price over the phone.

Foodnet officials say they’ll never ask for money over the phone and suggest that if you get such a call, confirm it’s Foodnet by calling 607-266-9553.
