Florida man accused of impregnating child arrested in Waverly

WAVERLY, NY (607NewsNow) – A Florida man awaits extradition from a Tioga County Jail cell.

On January 23, Waverly Police responded to a reported motor vehicle collision on Chemung Street in the village. Investigators say one man involved in the accident, Trevon Bing, had a ‘full nationwide extradition warrant’ for allegations of impregnating a minor and lewd lascivious battery of a child.

The 27-year-old Bing was arrested as a fugitive from justice around 2 p.m. and taken to Tioga County Jail.

Bing will be transported to the Colombia County Sheriff’s Office in Lake City, Florida to face the charges.
