ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Formerly AIDS Ride For Life, the fundraiser will take place on Saturday, September 19th and invites cyclists to ride routes around Cayuga Lake.

The fundraiser is The Southern Tier AIDS Program’s (STAP) largest annual fundraiser, consisting of registered participants biking a chosen route around Cayuga Lake, routes ranging from 14 to 106 miles in distance. All money goes directly to STAP to help fund services for individuals facing HIV and AIDS, chronic illness, substance use disorder, mental health challenges, and other barriers to care.

Volunteers and vehicle safety support are located at seven different pitstops around the lake, with a lunch pitstop included for participants and a celebration at the finish line. Find more informaton on the event’s website here.
