ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — An Ithaca lawmaker isn’t satisfied with services at the Asteri building.
Alderperson Margaret Fabrizio said residents at the East Green Street property are struggling to receive help.
“They’re not getting the services that they need,” she said. “We don’t have enough psychiatric services; we don’t have enough drug services.”

The building, which opened in 2024, houses many people who lived in the Ithaca homeless encampment known as the Jungle.
