ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Ithaca is tallying the number of homeless encampment sites. 

Deputy City Manager Dominick Recckio talked exclusively to WHCU Thursday on Ithaca’s Morning News.

The Common Council approved the policy in 2023. Recckio leads a committee appointed last month to review how well the policy worked. 

Recckio says the committee will make recommendations to the Common Council later this year.
