ENFIELD, NY (607NewsNow) – A sculpture is coming to the Town of Enfield.
The Community Arts Partnership of Tompkins County (CAP) has commissioned artists to create a public sculpture in Enfield that celebrates “local culture and values connected to food and agriculture.”
In a Facebook post, the CAP team says they’ve selected Hammondsport artists Tony Moretti and Gwen Quigley, collectively known as Crows Nest Artists, for the Enfield project. It will be the first in a trail of sculptures across the county celebrating the same theme.
The Tompkins County Tourism Program is funding the initiative. To find out more about the program, click here.
Officials will host a meeting on June 29 in the Enfield Community Center from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. to gather input.
