ENFIELD, NY (607NewsNow) -Several people are recovering after a 2-car accident in Enfield.
Shortly after 10 a.m. on December 27, Enfield Volunteer Fire Company crews responded to Route 79 for a collision between two SUVs. Firefighters had to cut the door off one vehicle with a Holmatro Hydraulic Extrication Tool to rescue a trapped passenger. The passenger was free within ten minutes after responders arrived at the scene.

Three people required medical attention. Tompkins County EMS, Trumansburg Ambulance, and Bangs Ambulance provided mutual aid.
