LANSING, NY (CortacaToday) — DWI data in Tompkins County is now available to see.

Undersheriff Jennifer Olin says information from the county’s Stop DWI program is now featured in the virtual transparency hub on the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office website. Some of the available information goes back to 2021.

“As the Tompkins County STOP-DWI Coordinator I am happy to announce the release of a dashboard that provides statistics on alcohol and drug related collisions, alcohol and drug related traffic stops, and High Visibility Engagement Campaign efforts among all local law enforcement agencies (excluding the NYS State Police),” said Undersheriff Olin.

It’s the department’s fifth data dashboard released since January, which also has info about CARE team calls, traffic stops, and deputies’ use of force.
