DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) — Discussions about a new contract for the Dryden Faculty Association took only 3 days to complete.

Josh Bacigalupi, superintendent of the Dryden Central School District, told 607 News Now the process was “smooth sailing.”

An increase in pay for teachers will be retroactive, Bacigalupi said.

DFA members ratified the 3-year contract earlier this month.
