DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) — A moratorium in Dryden might remain in effect.
Town lawmakers are considering extending a temporary ban on data processing centers and commercial cryptocurrency mining operations. Dryden Town Supervisor Jason Leifer said the current moratorium expires in February.
The Dryden Town Board is expected to vote on the matter tonight. Before a vote takes place, there’ll be a public hearing.
The board meets at 6 p.m. at Dryden Town Hall.
